The Erickson Family

Have I told you yet how much I love the Ericksons?  They are one of the funnest families you will ever meet, and they are good-looking too!  The three daughters in the family have been my good friends for many years, and I was so happy to be able to photograph them!  The second oldest daughter is leaving to serve a mission for the LDS church.  I wish her the best.  :)
When we showed up at the temple for pictures it was snowing like mad, but that didn't stop us!  Thanks guys for being up for it.







 

The contest is over

Well first I'll tell you that I didn't win.  But of nearly 2,000 votes I took second place and was only behind by about 60.  That is such an accomplishment.  I am so grateful to all of you who voted for me and gave me your support.  I feel so loved!  <3

Amanda's Bridals

I must say that I do feel a little weird posting these.  It is for a purpose though.  My wonderful second photographer (and husband) decided to take pictures of me in my wedding dress.  Why not?  That dress was just sitting there gathering dust anyways.  We had a fun time running around all over.  I was quite embarassed that I got honked at like 30 times though.  I guess lots of people think it's funny to honk at a girl in a wedding dress.  Real original guys.  But seriously, I'm really pleased with the work Blake did, and I hope you like it too!

A Thank You

On Saturday I was able to take family pictures for one of my dearest families (and friends), the Ericksons.  They were so sweet as to give me a bouquet of flowers to thank me for doing pictures for me.  They are just such wonderful people.  I'm excited to work on their pictures.  I thought I'd show off what a lovely gift they gave me, and tell them thanks for letting me take their pictures and for the beautiful flowers!

Mandy and Dave's wedding formals

It was a surprisingly sunny day in February when we went out to Memory Grove to take wedding formals with Mandy and Dave.  My husband came along too with camera in tow.  (Maybe I'll put up some of his shots later.)  These guys were really great to put up with the cold for me, and Mandy is just so pretty :)  Thanks you two!
